In 1960 “Cantina Sociale del Friuli Centrale” was funded in Bertiolo. Even in Italy this long name turned out to be unpractical and was soon shortened to “Cabert”.
The Cabert philosophy is: attention for each fase. By fase they mean every fase in the wine making process. For example, they have strict pruning requirements, and also they hire several winemakers, each with their own expertise.
