The wines of Oude Kaap rooted in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, where, since 1693, the steep ‘Groot Drakenstijn’ Mountains are a very important factor for the production of quality wines. Determination, preserverance, passion and innovation are as long as the spearheads of Oude Kaap and this legacy now lives on in the new generation of winemakers in this vigorous Estate. For the wines of Oude Kaap they chose the best fruit of the whole region and it also realizes that the essence of a good wine is the quality of the fruit. Through a rigorous selection of grapes and intensive contact with vintners determine the winemakers in this Estate which vats are chosen for Oude Kaap. This fresh and sweet wine is made of 100% Moscato grapes.

The charm of a Moscato is its fruity freshness. The wine has an intense aroma with candied fruits, acacia flowers and a delicate bouquet. This wine seduces everyone.

This wine is a very good appetizer but goes best with fruit based desserts and ice.
