Poggiotondo Chianti DOCG

This beautiful Chianti is made from three different grape varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino. The fruit was fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine then went through a blow-press before ageing in cement and large oak casks. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally. The grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and then fermented in concrete tanks. The soil is calcareous with white sea shells, that impart elegance and complexity to wines.

Deep garnet red coloured wine. In the bouquet are dried oregano aromas entwined with dark and red cherries. Ripe cherries on the palate are balanced with grainy tannin. A vibrant, fresh acidity on the finish.

Perfect partner for lamb or pastas.
