Barolo D.O.C.G. “Monvigliero” wine grows in the vineyards from one of the best area of Verduno, located in Barolo area at 200 to 300 ft. above sea level. Monvigliero can properly be considered the true “grand cru” of Verduno. The average age of the vines is 25 years old, and they are grown on a southern exposure in calcareous clay soils.

The wine has a garnet red color with orange tinges. In the nose an intense characteristic fragrance, ethereal and pleasant. The mouth is dry and full with a robust mouthfeel, simple but velvety and harmonic.

This wine goes well with red meat, game and matured cheese. It is advised to drink it at a temperature of 18-20C, decanting it carefully.
