Wente Wetmore Reserve Cabernet

This Cabernet Sauvignon has a great expression of Livermore Valley, with fruit sourced exclusively from their Charles Wetmore Vineyard, consisting of diverse soils such as clay hillsides and gravel. This well-drained vineyard provides us with a Cabernet with bold tannin and ripe fruit character, which coupled with the natural acidity from the long growing season, creates a beautifully balanced wine. The grape variety of this wine consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented with Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Malbec grapes.

Deep, bold and concentrated with beautifully layered aromatics of rose pedals, raspberry and blackberry complemented by intense flavors of ripe plums, red and black fruit with a touch of spice and black tea. This full-bodied, supple wine has a long, lingering finish with robust tannin and elegantly balanced acidity.
