Mount Riley was founded in 1994 and is known for the Richmond mountains that extend across the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. The hot days, the cool nights and the little rainfall in summer and autumn ensure optimum, long and slow ripening of the grapes, which in that way can keep their optimum aromas. They use both traditional and modern techniques to be able to produce high quality wines.
