Pago de Cirsus produces high quality wines. Their wines have a distinct character provided by the terrain, micro climate and grape varieties cultivated here. This is what sets them apart from other wineries. The winery is located in the Estate’s highest point from where much of the vineyard can be seen. The underground cellar allows a stable temperature and humidity level throughout the year. The goal of the bodega is to create a 100% Single Estate wine of the highest quality. Only grapes from their own vineyards are used for this purpose. By keeping the yields low, very tasteful wines are produced. The grapes are manually harvested and processed, performing as much work as possible in the vineyard. By maturing the wines on French oak barrels, the characteristic features come forward.

Owner Inaki Nunez built a new bodega in 2002 and works closely with winemaker Jean Marc Sauboua. Sauboua was a winemaker at Château Haut-Brion in Bordeaux, striving for perfection. This has led Pago de Cirsus to several golden medals. A wonderful achievement!
