Biscardo Ripasso della Valpolicella
The Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grapes are the base for the production of the great Verona wines, such as Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone, which have a great international success. The grapes are hand-picked and placed in wooden cases. This occasion takes usually place at dawn or late in the evening, just to avoid the intense warmth that the grapes may suffer during the day. The wine ripens in oak barrels for 12 months.
The bouquet is rich and complex, with clear tones of cherries and chocolate in the background. The flavour is dry, soft with a full harmonious balance. The finish is long and pleasant.
Particularly indicated with game dishes, red meat and matured cheese.
