Mas des Tannes Classique Rouge (Bio)

Grape variety/Vinification
The soil is very complex with a lot of different kinds of rock, such as gravel, clay and limestone. This wine is a blend of three grape varieties: Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan. The grapes are partly handpicked, partly mechanical. Every breed is separately matured in oak barrels.

Tasting notes
Intense deep purple red with garnet tints. Lots of cherries in the nose, and also blueberries, herbs, toast and hints of coffee. The aroma’s of blackberries mix with plums and spices. Rich, full and luxurious with soft tannins. In the long finish we find hints of vanilla and toast.

Food pairing
Delicious to serve with grilled red meat, such as lamb or veal, pastas, game dishes, soft cheeses and chocolate cake.
