Blend 30 % Castelão Pires, 30% Touriga Nacional, 20% Syrah and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fermentation in stainless steel, temperature controlled vats followed by a 10 days period of extended maceration
Tasting notes
A garnet-couloured wine, with aromas reminiscent of dark fruit, and notes of jam due to the lengthy period of maturation. Dense, well-structured and full on the palate, with presence of soft tannins. A finsh that is extremely pleasant, long-lasting and persistent.
Food pairing
A good choice to serve with meat dishes, goes particularly wel with game. Equally good served with strong cheeses.
