La Villette Cabernet Sauvignon VdF

This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The grapes come from vineyards on the Mediterranean coast with a maritime climate, where the grapes slowly mature, and vineyards from south west France, the casserole of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is partly fermented at low temperature and partly at a higher temperature on French and American oak to get more spiciness. After that, the wine ages 6 to 9 months on oak barrels where the wine is aerated after about 4 months.

The wine has elegant tones of licorice, roasted coffee beans and pure chocolate perfectly combined with black cherry aromas and a spicy cinnamon hint. The tannins are silky smooth, making it an elegant, complex wine. In the finish are refined aromas of cedar wood.

This wine pairs excellent with poultry, lamb or pizza.
