La Villette Chardonnay VdF
This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located in southwestern France at the food of the Pyrenees mixed with Mediterranean grapes. The fermentation of the grapes is 10 to 12 days on French and American oak, and the wine ages for even 6 months “sur lie”. Half of the wine undergoes a malolactic fermentation, which preserves the natural freshness of the wine. Due to the early bottling of the wine, it contains its freshness and primary aromas.
This Chardonnay is a refreshing and complex wine. The smells of lemon cake, banana and pear are followed by the warm smells of roasted bread and hints of vanilla and roasted nuts.
Excellent to pair with grilled or roasted white fish.
