Mount Riley Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc

Our Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc was made from a selection of our most expressive fruit. The blend was made from 70% Wairau Valley fruit and 30% Awatere Valley fruit. The wine we’ve made shows impeccable fruit expression, concentration and balance. Grapes were crushed and destemmed prior to pressing and fermentation was induced by the introduction of carefully selected yeast strains. We fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine.

Pale straw yellow color with green hues.
A complex and expressive nose showing pink grapefruit, passionfruit and lime with nuances of nettles and crushed herb. On the palate a wine of striking fruit purity and concentration with fresh but balanced acidity and great length of flavour.

Drinking well now. Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, white meats, pasta, salads or Asian cuisine.
