Prosecco Biscardo Spumante DOC

General information
A well known drink in Veneto is Prosecco. It comes from the northern east part, around the villages Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and is made of the Prosecco grape. Although there are sweet varieties, most Proseccos are dry and more (Spumante) or less (Frizzante) sparkling.

Grape variety/ vinification
This wine is made from Glera grapes. The grapes are pressed directly after harvest after which fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks.

The wine then goes into small stainless steel tanks under nitrogen, where pressure is build and the mousse is created.

Tasting notes
This Prosecco has a straw yellow color with subtle mousse. The nose is intens and aromatic with hints of apple and peach blossom. On the palate supple and velvety with a harmonious and aromatic finish.

Food pairing
Very good as an aperitif, perfect with appetizers, and also the perfect accompaniment with fish dishes.
