The Elements Chenin Blanc SA

General info
This wine is made of 100% chenin blanc. The Cape’s winegrowing regions are influenced by one of the two big oceans which meet at the southermost tip of Africa: the Atlantic and the Indian ocean. This results in a moderate Mediterranean climate. The vines grow on a sandy soil with low nutrient and water-retention properties.

Tasting notes
On the palate this medium bodied wine shows nice ripe stone fruit with a great balance of acidity. It has an elegant finish. Notes of cardamom, wood and smoke, beautifully blended with fruitiness. Aeration brings the notes of plums and violets.

Food pairing
This wine goes well with fish and chips, sushi and smoked salmon.
