Farnese Casale Vecchio Montepulciano (Black)

This wine is made of 100% Montepulciano grapes. During the first days, fermentation at low temperature allows a good extraction of polyphenols, responsible for the red colour of the wine. After that, the temperature rises to 27°C. The wine matures in barriques for about 6 months.

The wine has a ruby red color with garnet hues. In the nose intense aromas of wild berries and plum come forward, with notes of dried flowers, spices and licorice. This full bodied wine has light tannine and a beautiful finish.

Delicious in combination with rich main courses and red meat.
